coming shortly The Club has completed a new area for serving food or drinks etc. at the Dutton Park end of the Under Cover Pavilion, Thanks to Colin O'Leary who completed most of the works with assistance from Paul Smith, Steve Pearson and Ellbourn Engineering (materials). The Club used the new area for food sales at the Rodeo we held recently and as the Bar for the Long Track Motor Cycle event. The Committee thanks all those involved in this project which will be put to good use over the coming years for events held at the complex. Colin with the assistance from Marcus Hearl and Mark Harris have updated the Ladies and Men's Toilets. The Kitchen is presently under going a revamp in readiness for the upcoming Race Days, with a re-design of the sinks and clean up section. Two air conditioners have been purchased and are in the process of being installed in the main Dining and Bar area to improve comfort on warm days. Maintenance is always an ongoing issue with ageing infrastructure, It's being worked on continuously by Colin, the Committee and the Volunteers. The Club has made some changes to its Sponsorship Packages for 2012
Three categories
have been created for the season - The Club will celebrate its 65th Birthday at the 18th March Meeting. The Club has received confirmation of SKY/TAB Twilight meeting being held on the 26th February, (Subject to sufficient nominations being received for TAB Wagering). We have appreciated your support in the past seasons and welcome new sponsors. A close off date 31st January has been set to allow Race names to be advised to the relevant authorities and be included in Clubs Advertising. Membership for the 2012 season remains at $15 per member, this entitles the member to the following benefits;

The Kapunda Swap Meet will be held on the 22nd of May, it is a major
fundraiser for the Club. The Kapunda Rodeo dates to be advised The
Kapunda Harness Racing Club will again have a bonus draw of
"Complete Harness including Hopples" (Approximate value of $900) for
Trainers who race a horse/s at any of the three meetings. coming shortly The Annual General Meeting dates to be advised.
